Richard Webster and Chloe Davies became involved in ceramics
when they began working in a London studio. In 2000 they
formed Webster Davies Ceramics where they continue to
learn and experiment as their business evolves.
Webster Davies create simple forms that
are functional and tactile. Contrasting colours are
used to compliment design and enhance the natural flow
of the piece. The whole process is done by hand from
start to finish using white earthenware clay and either
press moulding or slip casting techniques.
A combination of these materials
and techniques, design and colour result in a refreshing
example of contemporary ceramics |
